Sunday | April 22, 2018 | 10am-5pm
Days Inn * Lisbon OH 44432

The heart and headquarters of any feature film or TV series is the Production Office. During preparation for the project, the crew is hired and equipment is ordered. Deals are cut for every vendor that comes in contact with the project - because everything costs money. At the center of this activity is the Production Office Coordinator (POC) who has to know how to get everything paid for, among all the other tasks and activities that take place every day.

The POC works with a team consisting of an Assistant POC and Production Assistants. The POC helps orchestrate the schedule, contracts, communications, and travel of the entire project by managing the production office. In this master class you will learn the vast organizational skills needed to make each day run smooth. This course is perfect for beginners wanting to get their foot in the door and, for experienced crew members in other departments, provides valuable insight in how everything must come together for the greater success of the overall project.

For those that aspire to be astute and effective Production Assistants and/or Assistant Production Office Coordiantors - come learn from someone who has honed her skills in Hollywood's trenches.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

You will meet Carol personally, receive a free copy of her extensive manual, hear and meet local film industry guest speakers, receive a free resume review, and come away from the event with the courage and assurance to walk into a movie, TV, video, or commercial office with film veteran confidence.

WHAT PAST ATTENDEES ARE SAYING

"With over 30 years of experience in the Film and Television industry, Carol Kravetz will bring a wealth of practical knowledge, insights and some amazing Hollywood stories to assist in your new and exciting journey ahead! I had the rewarding experience of working for Carol on the Emmy Award winning, hit television series, Breaking Bad. Her systematic and effective Production Office process was so well planned and easy to follow that it paved the way for success on all of my future shows. The value to her easy to follow process is that it creates a smooth functioning base for the show’s support teams to rely on. This saves time, money and makes everyone happy…and that’s what a great Production Office is all about! I’m glad I followed her path to success and you will be, too!”
Elissa Kannon, Production Coordinator (Better Call Saul)

"There is no one more qualified in the film and television industry to teach a course on Production Coordinating than Carol Kravetz. Her years of experience, expertise and knowledge are invaluable.  Having taken this course with Carol, and also having served as her Assistant Production Coordinator for several years, I can personally attest to this fact. What I learned from Carol has allowed me to further develop my skills, and successfully take on the role of Production Coordinator.  This course is a MUST for anyone interested in pursuing a career as a Production Coordinator."
Pamela Brown,  Production Coordinator,  Los Angeles, CA
