The heart and headquarters of any feature film or TV series is the Production Office. During preparation for the project, the crew is hired and equipment is ordered. Deals are cut for every vendor that comes in contact with the project - because everything costs money. At the center of this activity is the Production Office Coordinator (POC) who has to know how to get everything paid for, among all the other tasks and activities that take place every day.
The POC works with a team consisting of an Assistant POC and Production Assistants. The POC helps orchestrate the schedule, contracts, communications, and travel of the entire project by managing the production office. In this master class you will learn the vast organizational skills needed to make each day run smooth. This course is perfect for beginners wanting to get their foot in the door and, for experienced crew members in other departments, provides valuable insight in how everything must come together for the greater success of the overall project.

Carol Kravetz has been a Production Office Coordinator (POC) in film and television for over 30 years. Carol's credits include features for 20th Century Fox, Buena Vista/Walt Disney, Embassy, Lionsgate, MGM, Tri-Star, United Artists and more. Her movies as POC include Stan Winston's "Pumpkinhead" with Lance Henriksen, "Original Sin" with Angelina Jolie and Antonio Banderas, "Eyes of an Angel" with John Travolta, "Men at Work" with Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez, "Champions" with John Hurt, "The Blob," "Benji the Hunted," and, as choreographer, Rob Reiner's "This Is Spinal Tap."
Carol's TV mini-series include Alex Haley's "Queen" with Halle Berry, Tim Daly, Martin Sheen, and Ann-Margret, plus "Heaven & Hell; North & South III" with a star-studded cast including Kyle Chandler, Jonathan Frakes, Genie Francis, Rip Torn, Billy Dee Williams, Robert Wagner and Peter O'Toole. Among others, she has worked on TV films for ABC, CBS, Hallmark Hall of Fame, HBO, MCA, Paramount, Showtime, USA Network, and Warner Brothers with talent including Forest Whitaker, Sam Waterson, Dana Delany, Jason Robards, Scott Glenn, Mary Tyler Moore, James Garner, Diane Ladd, Loni Anderson, Paul Dooley, Morgan Fairchild, Susan Dey, and Chris Cooper.
Carol's television series include "Party of Five" with Scott Wolf, Matthew Fox, Neve Campbell, Lacey Chabert, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, "It's Always Sunny in Philadephia" with Danny Devito, "Huff" with Hank Azaria, "Red Shoe Diaries" with David Duchovny, and "Breaking Bad" with Bryan Cranston, the show after which she retired.
